The easiest way to start — simply ask what dates are open. No need to explain everything upfront; even a quick “Do you have any openings this week?” is perfectly fine. Yasu replies personally, in English.
As a one-person salon, Yasu can’t take same-day or last-minute bookings. Please reach out at least 24 hours ahead — and for a specific date, earlier is always better. Cancellations and openings aren’t always shown online, so if you’re hoping for a soon date, just ask.

You don’t need a detailed plan to reach out. Tell Yasu roughly when you’d like to come, and he’ll take it from there. Appointments are often booked 2–3 weeks ahead, so earlier is better — but last-minute openings do happen, and they won’t always show online. When in doubt, just message.
A first message can be
as short as one line.
Seriously — “Hi, do you have any openings around [date]?” is a perfect first message. If you’d like to share a little more so Yasu can prepare, the details below are helpful, but none of them are required.
Any bleach, straightening, perms, or self-coloring in the past 2–3 years
What you’d like to achieve — or a photo you like (reference images are very welcome)
Any damage, breakage, frizz, thinning, or past experiences that went wrong
When you’re available, especially if you’re visiting Sapporo on a specific trip
100% English communication — via WhatsApp and in the salon
Yasu does not accept contact via phone or LINE — all inquiries are handled via WhatsApp, so he can respond thoughtfully to every message, personally and in English.
As a solo stylist, Yasu is with clients throughout the day and replies to messages once each morning. You may not hear back the same day, but rest assured every message is read and answered. Same-day and last-minute bookings aren’t possible — please allow at least 24 hours.
